In support of the National Fisheries Research and Development Institute (NFRDI) an attached agency of the Department of Agriculture (DA), public and private HEls are invited to voluntarily participate in the 10th Fisheries Scientific Conference (SciCon) with the theme, “Achieving Food Security and Sustainable Fisheries through Research for Development”, on 11 to 12 of October 2023 at the Marikina Convention Center, Marikina City.
The SciCon is a biennial conference for national and international researchers, students and stakeholders in the field of fisheries. It will feature back-to-back presentations of science and management interface, launching of knowledge products, showcase of successful fishery projects and poster and spotlight presentations.
