In support of the Philippine Textile Research Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-PTRI), the Commission on Higher Education encourages all public and private higher education institutions (HEIs) to voluntarily participate in the 2023 Philippine Textile Congress on November 7 to 24, 2023, with the theme, “Futures Thinking for Philippine Textiles”.
The 2023 Philippine Textile Congress consists of two (2) events:
- Philippine Textile Research Colloquium a virtual conference of researchers from the Philippines and from abroad with the aim of presenting different studies and research projects in the various disciplines intersecting in the field of textiles; and
- Philippine Textile Innovation Dialogues a gathering of the different threads of the textile sector that fosters inter-sectoral dialogue and brings together an exchange of ideas and discourse regarding innovation and the future of the Philippine textile industry.
