In accordance with the pertinent provision of Republic Act (RA) No. 7722, otherwise known as the “Higher Education Act or 1994” and in pursuant to CMO No. 8, s. 2019, CMO No. 11, s. 2021, CMO No.Q7, s. 2023 on Identified National Priority Programs, Memorandum from the Office of the Chairperson on Regional Priority Programs dated September 17, 2021, and Memorandum from the Chairperson on GAD StuFAPs Allocation dated April 4, 2011, for AY 2024-2025, there are 1,374 slots to students who will enroll in recognized identified undergraduate priority programs. Please take note however, that said slots will be equitably distributed among the 16 regional offices.
Interested incoming first-year college students can submit their applications to the concerned CHED Regional Office via the ONLINE modality preferred by the region starting June 3 to July 15, 2024. Applicants may also visit the CHED website through ched.gov.ph for further announcements.
Student applicants that fulfill the General Weighted Average (GWA) requirements of 93%-:95% for Half Scholarship and 96% and above for Full Scholarship shall be ranked and selected subject to the eligibility requirements and criteria stipulated in the existing CMOs and availability of slots/funds.
Further, the CHED Regional Offices are directed to append the names in the StuFAPs database and submit immediately the masterlist of scholars including the copy of the official ranklist as basis for the fund transfer.
Furthermore, the CHEDROs are advised to ensure that the applicants who were not accepted into the program will receive an SMS, email, or snail mail informing them of the outcome of their application, copy furnished the OSDS, for reference.
