The Commission on Higher Education hereby informs the interested student applicants of the call for applications for the Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Fund – Grants-in-Aid for Higher Education Program (ACEF-GIAHEP) for Academic Year (AY) 2024 – 2025.

The application period is open from July 1, 2024 to August 15, 2024, and the applications must be submitted to the concerned CHED Regional Office (CHEDRO) through the link below:

The ACEF-GIAHEP is open to qualified and deserving undergraduate students who will enroll or are currently enrolled in any CHED recognized higher education institution in the areas of agriculture, forestry, fisheries, veterinary medicine education and related agricultural education programs.

Student applicants who can fulfill the requirements shall be ranked and selected subject to the eligibility requirements stipulated in the CHED and DA Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2, series of 2024, “Enhanced Implementing Guidelines of the Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Fund – Grants-in-Aid for Higher Education Program”, and on the availability of slots/funds.

Furthermore, the CHEDROs are advised to ensure that the applicants who were not accepted into the program will receive an SMS, email, or snail mail informing them of the outcome of their application, copy furnished the OSDS, for reference.
