In support of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) in celebrating the Museums and Galleries Month this October 2023 with the theme, “Exhibits and Reflections: Crafting Opportunities for the New World”, the Commission on Higher Education encourages all public and private higher education institutions (HEIs) to voluntarily undertake the following activities:
- Posting and sharing of the 2023 MGM advocacy materials including the 2023 MGM Official Poster, 2023 MGM Facebook Banners, and 2023 MGM Calendar of Activities on your institution’s website and social media accounts;
- Participate in the online campaign thread about the 2023 MGM celebration by sharing heritage-related content including photos, videos, news features, and other collaterals released by NCCA using the hashtags #MGM2023 and #MGMExhibitsAndReflections;
- Organizing own MGM activities and participating in heritage-related events such as webinars, online workshops, online lectures, and online exhibits.
The NCCA requests that HEls, who wish to voluntarily participate in celebrating the Museums and Galleries Month in October 2023, complete the MGM Activity Proposal Form and send the final information to the MGM secretariat at mqmsecretariat.nccaaqmail.com for inclusion in the 2023 MGM Calendar of Activities, Submission is extended until September 20, 2023.
