In support of the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA) and in celebration of the National Volunteer Month (NVM) with the theme, “Igniting Volunteer-led Innovation for Deep Economic and Social Transformation”, the Commission on Higher Education encourages all public and private higher education institutions (HEIs) to voluntarily participate in the Symposium on International Volunteerism and Volunteer Fair which will be held on 5 to 7 December 2023 through blended format (onsite at University of Mindanao and online through Zoom and Facebook platforms).
The activity aims to create a venue for international and local volunteers for knowledge sharing and network building and to identify opportunities to institutionalize volunteerism as a development strategy through three-fold functions of instruction, research, and extension.
