The Philippine Statistical System (PSS) through the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will celebrate the 34th National Statistics Month (NSM) in October 2023, with the theme: “Accelerating Progress: Promoting Data and Statistics for Healthy Philippines”.

The NSM is celebrated every October with the following objectives: 1) to promote, enhance, and instill nationwide awareness and appreciation of the importance and value of statistics to the different sectors of society; and 2) to elicit the cooperation and support of the general public in upgrading the quality and standards of statistics in the country.

The 34th NSM Opening Ceremony, hosted by the Department of Health (DOH), will be held on 02 October 2023, in line with PSA Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 2023-12 on the celebration of the 34th National Statistics Month (NSM).

All CHED Regional Offices and Higher Education Institutions (HEls) are hereby enjoined to support and participate on the celebration of the 34th NSM by conducting activities related to the event and hanging of poster and streamer using the prescribed format available for download thru this link: https://bit.ly/34NSMPosterandStreamer.
