The Commission on Higher Education (CHED), through the Technical Working Group for Flexible Learning (TWG-FL), will conduct an on-line Public Consultation on the proposed “Advisory in the implementation of flexible learning options for the BSMT and BSMarE programs” on 28 September 2020, 2:00 p.m. via Zoom.
Relative to this, heads/presidents/officers-in-charge/vice-presidents for academic affairs, faculty and students of maritime higher education institutions (MHEIs); representatives from relevant stakeholders; and, CHEDRO Directors/Supervisors, are invited to attend the said public consultation. A copy of the guidelines may be downloaded from the CHED website at https://legacy.ched.gov.ph/wp-content/uploads/DRAFT-Guidelines_FL-Maritime.pdf on September 23, 2020.
Due to limitations in the platform, please register at https://forms.gle/sbFsDNJ8BjTdQmkR8 to receive the zoom credentials for the said consultation. Participants who will not be able to attend the on-line presentation of the guidelines may visit the CHED Facebook page for the live stream. Stakeholders may send comments, inputs or recommendations through Google form via this link https://forms.gle/bRqGj95ZBqeTSY94A on or before October 5, 2020 (12:00 mn).
This consultation process is in consonance with the IATF guidelines on physical distancing and prohibition of mass gatherings during this COVID 19 health crisis.
