The Commission on Higher Education (CHED), through the Office of Programs and Standards Development (OPSD), will conduct a National Public Consultation on the proposed Policies and Guidelines for Open Distance and e-Learning on 17 July 2024, 9:00am at Tagaytay City. Details on the exact venue will be announced as soon as they are available.
Relative to this, the Presidents, Heads, or Officers-in-Charge, Vice Presidents for Academic Affairs, faculty, staff, and students of higher education institutions (HEls), CHED Regional Office (CHEDRO) Directors or Officers-in-Charge and Supervisors, and other stakeholders, are invited to attend the said public consultation. A copy of the proposed guidelines may be downloaded from the CHED website.
Please be reminded that two (2) representatives from each CHEDRO are enjoined to participate in the consultation. Meals during the activity will be provided by CHED-OPSD. Transportation expenses and accommodation for one (1) night for the CHEDRO representatives will be provided by OPSD, following the usual government accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
