The Commission on Higher Education (CHED, through the Office of Programs and Standards Development (OPSD), will conduct a Public Consultation on the proposed policies, standards, and guidelines for the National Merchant Marine Aptitude Test (NaMMAT) on the following dates:

Relative to this, heads/presidents/officers-in-charge/vice-presidents for academic affairs, faculty of maritime higher education institutions (MHEls); representatives from relevant stakeholders; and, CHEDRO Directors/Supervisors, are invited to attend the said public consultation. A copy of the guidelines may be downloaded from the CHED website beginning on July 10, 2024.
Meals will be provided for the participants for the whole duration of the activity. However, travel and accommodation expenses shall be shouldered by their respective institutions.
To ascertain logistic preparations, only two (2) representatives per MHEl shall be allowed to attend. CHED Regional Offices are requested to forward confirmations of participants from their respective regions to the Office of Programs and Standards Development (OPSD), Division of Programs with International Conventions (DPIC).
